@jackfrank_jjf Pacers were barely top 10 in “Pace” last year but no team got into the flow of the offense and ran the floor quicker, same as the 2014 Spurs were they do everything extremely fast but with the goal of getting the best shot rather than getting a shot up quickly.

To me, pace is much more about getting into the flow of the offense quickly rather than taking shots early. Some of the league’s “slowest” teams are its best offenses — such as the Celtics, Hornets, Nuggets and Thunder —because they get into sets quickly and can shift defenses.
