If you’re the founder ready to build this, here’s where we come in.
We’ll start by helping you break the idea down properly, what the product should look like, the core features, how landlords and tenants will interact, and what makes it actually work in the real world.
Then we’ll match you with the right team, product designers, frontend and backend engineers, people who have built real platforms, not just ideas.
From there, it’s execution. MVP first, test the market, refine based on feedback, and scale it into something people actually rely on.
When you’re ready, we’ll be here with the talent to make it happen.

Every fintech doesn't have to revolve or be about Finance 🤧 We desperately need an app that can connect Landlords to Tenants directly 🙂

When we saw the @UN_Women's theme for this year’s International Women’s Day, “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls”, it felt less like a slogan and more like a reminder.
A reminder that progress does not happen by accident. It happens when people intentionally create space, open doors, and build systems where women can grow, lead, and thrive.
At ProDevs, we see that impact every day through the women in our community, engineers, designers, analysts, product leaders, and builders who continue to shape the future of technology with skill, discipline, and vision.
Today is not just about celebrating women. It is about recognizing the work being done, the barriers that are still being challenged, and the opportunities that must continue to expand for the next generation of women and girls.
To every woman building, leading, learning, and pushing boundaries in tech, we see you, we celebrate you, and we stand with you.
Happy International Women’s Day.

Behind every placement on ProDevs, there’s structure most people don’t see. Real assessments. Careful reviews. Honest leveling. Sometimes tough calls.
We don’t rush people into roles to tick boxes.
We make sure the person stepping into your team can actually deliver.
Because when you’re building products, scaling infrastructure, or refining AI systems, “almost qualified” is expensive.
The goal is simple: when talent joins your team, they’re ready from day one.
If you want engineers who can contribute immediately and grow with your company, hire through ProDevs.io

Nigeria’s problem isn’t a lack of talent but discovery. That’s what led William Nwogbo to start @Prodevs_io in 2020. Bootstrapped and profitable from year one, ProDevs now has 15,000+ tech talents and aims to enable 50M hires across Africa by 2040. techcabal.com/2025/11/08/day…

Every great product starts with one decision, who you build with.
You can have the funding, the vision, even the roadmap.
But if the people behind your code aren’t right, everything falls apart.
That’s why at ProDevs, we don’t just connect you to tech talents.
We connect you to people who think, who innovate, who build like founders.
Because building is easy.
Scaling is hard.
And we’re the partner that helps you do both, seamlessly.

Unpopular opinion: You don't have a talent shortage. You have a talent recognition problem.
Last week, a CTO told us, "There are no good developers anymore."
The same day, we talked to a brilliant developer who's been job hunting for 4 months.
Something's not adding up.
Here's what we think is really happening:
We've all become really good at writing job descriptions that look for unicorns.
5+ years in a framework that's been around for 3 years
"Rockstar ninja who's also a team player"
Must have worked at a Big Tech company
But we've gotten terrible at recognizing actual talent when it's sitting right in front of us.
We've watched companies pass on developers because:
They didn't go to the "right" school
They taught themselves to code instead of getting a CS degree
Their previous company wasn't a recognizable name
They stumbled over one whiteboard question while nervous
Their accent was "different"
They lived in the "wrong" timezone (even for remote roles)
Meanwhile, these same developers are:
Shipping production code every day
Solving complex problems, their "pedigreed" colleagues can't crack
Teaching themselves new frameworks on weekends
Contributing to open source projects
Actually excited about the work
The uncomfortable truth?
Most hiring processes are designed to filter out rather than discover.
We're all using the same old playbook:
Post a job → Get 200 resumes → Skim for keywords → Interview 5 people who all look the same → Wonder why we can't find anyone good
It's like fishing in the same tiny pond and complaining there are no fish... while ignoring the ocean right next to you.
Here's what we've learned after placing hundreds of developers:
The best hires often don't come from where you expect.
They're the developer who:
Built an entire e-commerce platform for their friend's business (even though their LinkedIn says "Junior")
Pivoted from another career and brings a completely different perspective
Works from a city you've never heard of, but writes cleaner code than your current senior dev
Doesn't "perform well" in interviews but ships features like clockwork
The shift that changes everything:
Stop asking: "Do they check all our boxes?"
Start asking: "Can they actually do the work?"
Stop looking at: Where they've been
Start looking at: What they can do
Stop filtering by: Pedigree, location, years of experience
Start filtering by: Problem-solving, learning speed, and actual output
We're not saying lower your standards.
We're saying change your standards to match reality.
The talent is out there. They're just not wearing the costume you expected them to wear.
Question for you:
When was the last time you hired someone who didn't fit your usual profile... and they turned out to be one of your best?

When you talk to Ore Akinwole, one thing stands out: he doesn’t just build software; he builds understanding.
From his early days as a front-end developer to becoming a full-stack engineer passionate about scalable, user-centered systems, Ore’s journey is one of growth, curiosity, and intentionality.
He shared how his career evolved from experimenting with design to mastering system architecture, and how remote work taught him the real power of clarity, empathy, and trust.
What we loved most about his story is his reminder that African tech talent is not just skilled, but we’re resourceful, adaptable, and globally competitive. “Problem-solving and creativity come naturally to us,” he says, “because we’ve learned to thrive even with limited resources.”
We’re proud to have talents like Ore on the ProDevs platform, professionals who don’t just deliver projects but create real impact.
Whether you’re building a startup or scaling a global tech team, you can access vetted, world-class developers like Ore through prodevs.io.
