@ivancedric_a @HHMINEWS I am a Filipina-American professor in STEM and I am trying to get data on Filipinos and Hmong students, postdocs and faculty in STEM to support that we are indeed underrepresented in STEM.

I had a similar experience when I, a Filipino American, tried to be nominated by my school for the @HHMINEWS Gilliam Fellowship. Asians are not a monolith. When was the last time you met a Filipino/Hmong/Southeast Asian professor?
