In sports, there are good examples of this: 3⃣WHOOP ($3.6B) - Founded by Will Ahmed, a former Harvard squash player with no background in wearables or sports science. 2⃣Peloton ($3.2B) - John Foley, a former executive at Barnes & Noble, co-founded Peloton without a background in fitness. 1⃣DraftKings ($23B) - Jason Robins, Matt Kalish, & Paul Liberman came from tech and marketing backgrounds, not from the sports or gambling industries. And what gets me most excited... Is how many other talented founders continue to enter the sports industry bringing new thoughts, ideas, and outside perspectives! 📈
