@davidfowl Yw man! Been a “crazy” last few months Hopefully though after the end of the year things are going to be back to normal and I can contribute again… I really want to but have had literally zero time even for personal projects :( current milestones hit though so fingers crossed

Today we ship Aspire 13! Why 13? It’s a number that’s bigger than 10 but less than 14. Seriously though, Aspire 13 marks the start of a new chapter for the project: the beginning of its polyglot era. We’re expanding beyond .NET, bringing the same model-driven, code-centric experience to Python, JavaScript, and beyond. Check out the what's new on the new site: aspire.dev/whats-new/aspi… #aspire @aspiredotdev

@davidfowl A major gap in vscode is semantic caching. If you would run say meilisearch or pg_vector and link to vs agent mode you could massive save on requests without the llm needing to be hit. Wouldn’t be too bad to self host a small embedding generator model in an extension

We've been working with @Prom3theu5 on moving Kubernetes support back into aspire from aspirate. Still very early days but promising! #dotnet #aspire

We've joined Anthropic to launch a C# SDK for the Model Context Protocol! This open-source gem boosts #AI app dev with slick data integration, tailored for #dotNET. Serious power, flexibility, and totally extensible. Read the news and give it a tryout. 📖 msft.it/6012qqIim

@davidfowl It is definitely one of the best I’ve used. Compare it to SQL alchemy in python now they definitely got the alchemy part right, as you need to be a sorcerer to pull off anything near as performant as EF is :P Drizzle is pretty good for typescript too, but again imo EF beats it

People like to talk smack about EF but it's one of the best ORMs on the planet (if you don't like ORMs this thread isn't for you 😅).
