They speak Farsi. A completely different language from most other ME countries. They’re Persian and please don’t lump them in with Iraq, etc. Things could have been so different if the Shah hadn’t refused to believe he could be overthrown. He WAS, and how. Then the cretins who helped them overthrow the regime got a NICE little taste of what was to come. It was awful.

@chilling_moot Yeah it’s almost as if some of this is as a result of the post Covid change in audience behavior. People don’t show up to the cinema the way they used to. Especially for Suicide Squad which was before Cinema had any real recovery. Superman was actually a financial success.

I don’t know how anyone can defend this in good faith. Supergirl has to be up there alongside Thor: Love and Thunder and The Flash for some of the worst vfx compositing in modern cinema.
