The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

The entire week my girlfriend stayed over, my bedroom started smelling so bad I thought something in the apartment had actually broken. I blamed the plumbing first, paid a plumber to check the pipes, and even booked a deep cleaning because I refuse to live in a place that smells like a swamp. Later I finally pulled the blankets back and realized where the smell was coming from. The mattress, the sheets, and this pillow she keeps between her legs looked like a straight crime scene. Dark stains soaked through the sheets and into the bed, and the smell was coming from that pillow she’d been using every night like nothing was wrong. Instead of doing the normal thing and washing the sheets, she starts crying and telling me I’m “insensitive” because it’s apparently normal and I should just be supportive. What’s not normal is letting stained sheets and a soaked pillow sit in someone else’s bed for days like it’s no big deal. So I grabbed gloves, shoved the pillow and the sheets into a trash bag, and put them outside because I’m not sleeping in that. She packed her stuff, called me cruel, and left. Basic hygiene in my own bed is not negotiable

there’s a guy on my timeline i feel bad for because nobody interacts with his tweets every now and then i’ll notice one, check back later, and it’s gone. like he quietly deleted it after realizing nobody engaged with it today i decided i should be his only supporter and turn on notifications for him so at least one person likes his tweets i pulled up his profile and the edit profile button popped up

Nifty Gateway is about to shut down. The NFTs I bought back then—worth tens of millions of dollars—now feel like they’re going to zero. I still believe NFT art has strong potential. Compared to traditional art, I’m convinced that AI will be able to truly perceive and appreciate the beauty of NFTs. Right now, the most urgent task is to find a platform that can properly showcase the aesthetic value of all NFTs. 😂
