No amount of "but the system!" can justify the Canes being 30th in the NHL at finishing. The team has scored almost 14 goals fewer than expected. The math: 82 points / 203 goals = x points / 217 goals x = 87.65 points Which would be good for 1st in the NHL above even the Avs.
