Have to think Quinnipiac gets a decision this week on the medical redshirt appeal of Jeremy Wilmer especially with the transfer portal opening up the Monday the 13th. They need to know if that spot will be used for Wilmer or be available for a transfer or an incoming freshman.

Collin Graf is of a rare breed. Each year there are undrafted NCAA free agents signed. Much is made about it but the vast majority peak in the AHL. A handful become serviceable depth NHLers. Graf now has 20 goals as a second-year NHL forward. I can't remember the last to do that.

@venividiveech @MikeGrinnell_ @spittinchiclets The weaker character resume is an insane take considering he won the Gaudreau award in the USHL last year. Your other two points are the real reason. He would have to have a 75-80 point season for any chance to win it.

Im happy to see people squash this stupidity. You don't leave @QU_MIH because you are a good player. If anything you look to transfer into QU. Rand Pecknold and his staff have a proven track record of winning AND developing talent for the NHL.

Setting the record straight, I've been told the same as Jonny here. Ethan Wyttenbach was only going to leave Quinnipiac for the NHL. Transferring was never on the table.

Ethan Wyttenbach never spoke to any other program. His decision came down solely to returning to Quinnipiac or signing with Calgary. This is a false report. It’s perfectly fine to be wrong sometimes, everyone makes mistakes, but doubling down on inaccurate information instead of acknowledging it is not the right way to handle it.

Wrote this over the weekend, but players who sign an ATO to join an AHL or ECHL team CANNOT remain NCAA eligible if they participate in ANY competition. The rules for pro participation pre-enrollment and after full-time enrollment are different.
