Once upon a time, there were only 32 public nodes. Now there are over 300. And what makes Kaspa better than Bitcoin is this: In Kaspa, every node is a consensus node. In Bitcoin, most nodes are not consensus nodes because you must keep the entire transaction history, and not everybody is able to do so.

No need to panic or expect a dump after already being 99% down. That wallet movement is just Wintermute moving their funds, which will not be touched. After spending five figures on market making across 15 exchanges from my own private wallets, everything I did for KANGO was still never enough. I reached a point where I can no longer convince myself to keep spending money on Kaspa or KANGO. I simply don’t have the funds to keep doing it. It’s not sustainable. The truth is, the hunger was never satisfied. Even after a 1000x, even reaching the top 1000, it was never enough for most holders. In all honesty, we did something incredible — but this isn’t an environment where it makes sense to try to do it again. Paying for market making across 15 exchanges was slowly killing me. I refuse to spend another dollar on a meme coin during a declining economy. Look at gold. Look at SPX / Gold. Look at the dollar. Look at the other meme coins. Most people will never have enough — even after a 1000x and with $300k+ invested by founders into exchanges. That’s roughly $400k when you include market making. I hope Kaspa recovers next cycle, and if it does, I’ll be back to attempt to build again. The wallet movement you’re seeing is simply Wintermute returning funds to a Tangem wallet, after never being able to secure a Tier 1 exchange — something even Kaspa itself struggles with. The truth is, Kaspa leadership feels like a ghost pirate ship, and building meme coins on Kaspa right now feels like building a Jenga tower on a sinking ship. I do believe Kaspa is incredible — but from a macro perspective, we’re either too early, or humanity simply isn’t ready to transition yet. I’ll be locking the Telegram to avoid people scamming each other. I’ll maintain the Twitter accounts and preserve the art. If I find a real use for it in the future — and I’m able to make money outside of crypto — I’ll do it again. This was my first cycle. I was too bullish on Kaspa and KANGO, and it backfired. Maybe we share that in common. I’m not financially better off than I was two years ago — I’m just much wiser, and I’ve learned a lot. Best of luck on your crypto journeys. I hope to continue again when the time is right.

wahey #kas community, as you know I've been working on a mathematical framework for price oracles for kaspa for the past year: formal proofs, tight bounds, rigorous security guarantees. I am currenty working for @AppKaskad, who is for now the sole responsible for funding my research, something i much appreciate. I'd like to contribute to defi on an even larger scale, potentially being a contender for leaders such as Pyth or Chainlink. To that end i'd like my work to reach even more people, and to focus full time on this oracle as well as the L1 kaspa auction, a separate paper that I started under the supervision of yonatan. oracles are not optional infrastructure for defi: they are the foundation everything else is built on. with defi coming to kaspa, getting this right matters. i'd rather we have something mathematically sound than ship something that gets exploited six months later. if you know of grants, research funding, DAOs, or individuals who want to back my work in the kaspa ecosystem, DMs are open. paper attached, happy to discuss with anyone who wants to engage with the content. I plan on updating weekly the content of my work, and in my next post will do a timeline on what still needs to be done.

Hi guys. To my friends in the Bitcoin and Kaspa communities this will be my last post. 4 days ago I made the biggest mistake of my life and lost 2.85M KAS and 0.5 BTC on my Tangem wallet. I attempted to remove one card and add a ring in its place. After it deleted card #1 it said to scan #2. Whether I was rushing or didn’t read it correctly I don’t know, but in my mind it was asking me to scan #2 to confirm the deletion of #1. But what I actually did was delete cards 1 and 2. I have one card left and the passcode I have written down for #3 is not working. I’m not sure if the app is somehow glitched or what, but everything I’ve worked towards for the last three years is gone. And I can’t be on this app anymore and interact with all of you guys without breaking down emotionally and mentally. To Yonatan, Michael, Shai, Coder, Ori and everyone else who is building, contributing to, or has contributed to Kaspa in the past, thank you for the educational content you guys have made through talks and workshops on YouTube about cryptography. I have learned so much because of you guys and I’m eternally grateful for it all. To my friends on here….Onion, Vjay, Gonzo, Juan, Wolfie, BTC teacher, Kaspa Facts, and a thousand more of you… I’m going to miss hanging out in spaces with you guys and tweeting funny and unhinged shit all day long. It has truly been the highlight of my life to be here talking with all of you. To all the people building, experimenting, and coding on $KAS keep up the great work and change the world with some killer applications and use cases. To Tangem….I accept responsibility for the mistakes I made deleting my wallets. But it’s simply unconscionable that when I scan card #1 and view the settings for only that card, that there’s no explicit safeguards for when you’re affecting other cards. Maybe there are and I’m just acting irrationally. Either way I hope you guys change your SOP for deleting wallets. It was way too easy for me to delete mine. I’ve been on this app in this space since early 2023 preaching the good word of Kaspa and in the end it didn’t matter and I lost it all. I simply cannot be apart of this community anymore because it hurts too much to even think about how much I’ve lost. The daunting task of trying to accumulate almost 3M coins is simply too much for my heart to bare. Again, thank you to everyone for all the laughs but the spark is gone my life is simply not worth living anymore. -brt
