We are extremely saddened to hear that Will Noel passed away yesterday. He was a pioneer in the field of digital manuscript studies, a relentless advocate of open access, friend and colleague to many in the DM community. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

Now the real work begins, as the researchers work to glean more information from the @RBTothAssociate multispectral images, in parallel with continued imaging at the Ambrosiana

@leoba Not the manuscript, but researchers using advanced technology (in a ridiculously expensive modern lab) get instant results, complete with translation, age of parchment, breed of goat, but always some weird symbol they don't understand
