@RDelaney Anyone can use a troubleshooting manual. But I must learn what’s in my own heart To truly listen to another. The cause and effect solutions, breakdown down with matters of the heart.

It's time to stop labeling women and men as psychologically disordered and start relating to them for who they are: Real human beings with real feelings who suffered trauma/conditioning/domestication and want to return to wholeness with the help of others' love and compassion.

@Finn_McA Exactly, easy to conflate these as I did for years.

@RDelaney It’s normal to fear the unknown, but don’t mistake your fear for laziness.

@RDelaney Loving "confrontation" sounds hopeful. In general, much better than the much-applauded escape: without excluding that we set the limits we see necessary.

@sheshn94 Having meditated for thousands of hours, I can attest. Spirituality is not enough - we also need action.

@EmbodimentwithK I agree. They can be relatively helpful, but shouldn't become an absolute burden.

@RDelaney I find systems and labels should serve the purpose of change - not become a new cross to carry.

The older I get, the more I appreciate this truth: “We suffer more often in imagination than in reality.” - Seneca Just do the thing. Whatever you're so worried about probably won't happen.

@sheshn94 I agree with you, Sheshn. First, "step into it at your best," then let it run its course.

@RDelaney Love this take Ryan I now see conflict as an opportunity to cooperate in love or a decision where we part ways in love It is meant to go the way it needs to But it's important to step into it at your best

I used to think relationship conflict meant something was wrong. Eventually, I realized some conflict was to be expected. Conflict indicates a willingness to have difficult conversations. A relationship without conflict implies we're either enlightened or dead.

@RDelaney Yes, allow yourself to feel the emotions. Don’t try to suppress them. When you suppress, you resist. But allowing yourself to feel them without judgment, you allow them to pass through.

I wish more people talked about this: If you suffer trauma and have yet to reach your potential, be gentle with yourself. The energy used to regulate your emotions robs you of your ability to concentrate and process information, making it harder to succeed in life and career.
