WATCH: The left-wing Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed told the audience at a United Auto Workers conference last month that he did “time” for participating in a 2018 minimum wage protest. Police and court records related to the arrest obtained by @alanagoodman paint a different picture, revealing that El-Sayed was detained briefly and released with a misdemeanor ticket. The charges against him were dropped a few months later.
