Over 4,400 U.S. service members died in the Iraq War from the invasion (Mattis commanded) March 2003 through the official withdrawal in 2011.
This result of those lives lost was a new war fighting ISIS in 2014.
I respect Mattis, but he has very little room to publicly critique a Middle East military operation lead by those who fought under his command simply because it doesn’t mirror his strategy and doctrine.

Working on the dive into the RQ-180 sighting I meant to put up yesterday. Here's a side-by-side with Israel's RA-01 that I've seen some argue it could have been. Does not seem likely to me.

I expect gas prices to come back down, as do many analysts. Just a temporary shock.
Energy independence is why our oil prices are so much more diverged from what Europe or Asia is paying. Its why we're more insulated. Ramp up production and we're fine and dandy.
Have you also seen our LNG price compared to others? Its obvious energy independence is relevant.
