@SouthwestAir Respectfully, this still doesn’t add up. Assigned seating doesn’t improve boarding when empty rows stay unused and passengers can’t move. A ‘more predictable experience’ sounds a lot like monetizing seat choices. This feels less about flow and more about revenue.

@SouthwestAir They say assigned seating is for ‘weight distribution,’ but that doesn’t add up. Planes have wide safety margins, empty rows don’t balance anything, and Southwest flew safely for years with open seating. This feels more like policy than safety.
