Sky. Badenoch speaks at the London Defence Conference. That must be the most brutally honest and intelligent assessment I’ve ever heard on the issue of defence. And yes she fully owned the mistakes previous Tory governments. I haven’t seen any party leader give such a serious well informed assessment of where we are in terms of defence. And she doesn’t avoid the question of allies and the US either. Nigel Farage once praised Kemi Badenoch for her strength of conviction (I have the clip) that conviction was on display this morning.
