There is a reason BYU was never invited to the Pac 12. Had to be saved by the Mid 12 alongside all the other g5 programs joining that conference.

If I understand correctly, BYU spent more on 1 single player than Utah State spent entirely on NIL combined, BYU was a first round exit in March Madness and Utah State actually won a game Yet, BYU demands a home game but is too good to travel to Logan? Am I getting this right?

@JoeInOregon_87 @willmbetts Yes compare how many tournament team BYU played compared to you. In preseason played Nebraska, N Carolina, Wisconsin, UCON. Let alone conference play. You have a great program but you have turned into trolls that don’t understand that money runs things.

@willmbetts That’s because BYU is afraid of most travel outside of their bubble. They know that losing on the road could be detrimental to the overall SoS or even the rankings.

@willmbetts Spin however it makes you feel good. Injuries play some factor. Trolls like you seem to not understand how money plays a factor with who and where you play. Your pre season schedule hurt your seeding last year. You have a great team.

@HarveyHolmes22 This year BYU didn’t have the draft picks Utah had. BYU had 9 players signed contracts compared to 7 for Utah last report I saw. Not as far apart as you try to make it sound. Both have good depth.

Utah State is the best basketball team in Utah

@BattleCattleFan Glad BYU Administration feels different. He is a great coach. Besides no one really cares what an Aggie fan thinks about BYU because it is generally negative. Glad the Aggies won today.

Kevin Young isn’t a good college basketball coach, Because in college you actually have to scheme and coach. You can’t just rely on star talent. It’s nothing like the NBA. (Which is also why College Hoops has surpassed the NBA for me.) BYU would be smart to move on from Young, unless their goal is to produce Lottery picks and not win titles

@MitchHenline Look at your schedule. He played in the Boston Garden, Madison Square Garden, Orlando, Las Vegas, The Delta Center, and the Big 12 schools. I would choose the Mountain West over that.

@RoyalCoug Be careful about the WCC. They were good partners in a time of need. Everyone understands the Big 12 is better. But the WCC had a lot of good fans too. I enjoyed the time we had.

I'd rather be 10th in the Big 12 than 3rd in the WCC. Beating Iowa State and Texas Tech was awesome ! I'd rather lose to Arizona, Houston, and Kansas than beat Santa Clara and San Francisco. We're getting marquee talent to wear our jersey. Love this new world of BYU basketball.

@aggies_go1 You don’t understand the history. BYU was willing to trade a home & home. This is over football. BYU was not willing to trade a home & home in football (2 for 1). Too much money involved. Utah State then said they wouldn’t play BYU in basketball except with a 2 for 1 back.

Jon, why won’t they schedule a home and home with us? Can’t handle the heat?
