The final video of my Basic Enemy AI series will be released on Monday. In this series, we built the foundation for Enemy AI in Unreal Engine 5, including enemy sight, hearing, distraction, pathfinding, patrol logic, player weapon system, destructible objects, modular health components, damage reactions, and finally the ragdoll death system. You can find the full playlist here: youtube.com/playlist?list=… After this final Basic AI episode, uploads may slow down a little because the next stage needs more planning, testing, and production time. The next big goal is the Advanced AI series, where I want to cover Behavior Trees, Blackboards, smarter decision making, better aiming systems, weaponized enemies that can actually attack and kill the player, more natural patrol behavior, and more complex NPC systems. After that, I also want to start building a modular inventory system. I also know there are still promises I need to continue, especially the RTS series. I have not forgotten about it. The honest truth is that I still work a full-time job, and I create these tutorials in my extra time. That is why I cannot publish as fast as I want. But I am trying to keep the videos free, practical, and useful for everyone learning Unreal Engine. Skull Cave - Silence in Depths by Environment Artist Awais Azhar is a fully explorable 360 dark fantasy scene intended for audience exploration and was made using Quixel assets💀 To push himself creatively, he set a challenge to himself to use only assets from the Dark Ruins sample project. "Limiting yourself to a single asset pack or strictly controlling your asset pool size can be a great way to spark creativity and improve problem-solving. For this project, I worked exclusively with the Dark Ruins sample assets, using Unreal's Modeling Tools to reshape and customize them. With just a few adjustments, you can create entirely new variations from the same base mesh — all within the engine." - Awais Azhar
