I appreciate your recognition of this fact. We are serious when we say we will never leave a fallen comrade behind. There is no greater shame in our military ethos than to abandon a service member on the battlefield. Even marrying a stripper is seen as less shameful than leaving the fallen behind.

I once remember reading a study/poll that asked different men across the world if they thought they could fight a bear 1 on 1, unarmed, and win. All across the world everyone polled like 98% no. But only the Americans believed they could do it.
