@AmyMek Ranks alongside why do western leaders sign lopsided FTA’s with India as the most baffling questions of our time. Suspect the answer to both questions is the same - cheap labour for big business and grows raw GDP for Gov’s.

Can anyone name a single positive reason why any Western leader is importing Islam into their country? Anyone….

@MarkoMatvikov How does the word “deported” not appear in that timeline. Sadly this is yet another example of suicidal empathy.

The Somali terrorist who went on a Jew stabbing rampage in London yesterday had PREVIOUSLY STABBED A COP AND A POLICE DOG Absolutely unbelievable Any normal, non-suicidal country would have removed citizenship after this

Can see it now, Tsatas will walk away at seasons end & be picked up and be a gun in another side. Has Massimo written all over it.

@HeathLyons I knew Mass would do well elsewhere. Voss too. Tsatas - not so much. If he gets picked up it’ll be by a club as dumb as we were when we took him at pick 5. Has very limited value, don’t see that this one will come back to haunt us.

Spain's mass amnesty of half a million illegals has caused a "functional collapse of social services across Madrid." Who could have possibly foreseen this?

@BomberRicko There are two sides to the game “dunbass”. Ironic. Watch what Parish and Tsatas do when the other team has the footy and you might understand why dropped.

@BomberRicko Worth noting that opposition mids were the dominant players in both losses. Parish and Tsatas were tried and failed. Both are defensive liabilities and not good enough with the footy to justify carrying them.

I know others have covered the Tsatas omission, but look at this: Centre throwups/clrncs vColl: Durham 19/1 Caldwell 8/0 Parish 22/1 Merrett 16/1 McGrath 13/1 Tsatas 14/2 V Suns Durham 4/1 Caldwell 21/0 Parish 30/5 Merrett 16/2 McGrath 16/2 Tsatas 24/6 So we have just rested our second best centre clearance mid (Parish) and decided NOW is the time to drop our best centre clearances mid (Tsatas) It makes no sense.

Was prepared to give Essendon coaching panel benefit of doubt over Elijah Tsatas's harsh treatment at selection the last couple of seasons, but having finally come back in and played his best footy yet, dropping him again now after three games just doesn't make sense. Baffling.

@DrewPavlou How can we as a society hold accountable these activist judges whose decisions are so far out of whack with community expectations? They are completely unaccountable for the damage they cause but there seems to be no consequence, no matter badly they get it wrong.

BREAKING: The man believed to have abducted and murdered innocent five year old Aboriginal Australian child Sharon Granites was released from prison early on bail despite having been imprisoned at least 4 separate times for violent offences over the past 10 years. Justice for Sharon Granites. This is an appalling criminal justice failure. “The ABC has confirmed that over the past decade, Mr Jefferson Lewis has been sentenced to more than five years in prison, for separate, serious violence-related offences. Most recently, he served an 18-month sentence after he pleaded guilty in October 2024 to aggravated assault, engaging in conduct that contravened a domestic violence order, and breaching bail. While already in prison, he was sentenced to a further three months for another count of engaging in conduct that contravened a domestic violence order, and for resisting police. Earlier on, in 2022, he was sentenced to 11 months on separate aggravated assault charges, for which he served eight months and was then released on a good behaviour bond. In 2018, Mr Lewis was sentenced to 19 months in prison, with a non-parole period of 14 months, on four counts including two charges of aggravated assault. In 2016, he was sentenced to 12 months behind bars after pleading guilty to aggravated assault.”

@normboy562 Because the AlP government does not care about Australian people at all and voters are picking up on it. Just as loony Dems gave us MAGA, ALP has given us ON. Thanks! Suggest the left look inwards on this one.

Why are some Australians so fucking stupid that they would give their vote to One Nation, the party of racism, founded by a racist, financed by racists, with plenty of money? WHY are these people so vile and evil that they could damage Australia beyond repair, then what? 🤔ffs.

@clusterclot @Matt_Camenzuli Free trade is one thing, open borders another. Huge numbers of Indians benefit, vis these deals, from access to western countries, nobody from the west is looking to immigrate to India. The deals all seem to disproportionately benefit Indians.

I was at Sorrento Writers Festival on weekend, with a lot of heavy-hitting political types there from both sides of aisle. They entirely agree. The Libs pumping up One Nation's tyres only gives them credibility & makes them a more compelling alternative to. . .the Libs. #auspol
Craig Emerson@DrCraigEmerson

I’ve been involved in politics since 1983 including as an adviser to Bob Hawke and as a Labor Cabinet Minister. The Liberal Party trying to emulate One Nation is folly (and bad for our country). They are sacrificing their few remaining moderates. They cannot outdo One Nation.
