Nigel Farage has said that he wants to move towards an insurance based healthcare system. The NHS wasn’t built in Wales just to be a destroyed by Reform UK. A vote for Plaid Cymru is a vote to protect and strengthen our NHS.

The Conservatives spent 14 years hollowing out our Armed Forces, including £12 billion of cuts in their first five years alone. Now they've suddenly discovered the importance of investment. We're busy fixing their failures I set the record straight at the Despatch Box yesterday:

@DanNeidle Fair point, and possibly a problem for a few people. Hopefully this will alert people. It might be useful if the banks advised before completing the withdrawal that the customer may be liable for the tax.

The fault is NatWest's. Their terms *should* say that, if you withdraw funds early, then some of your interest has to be refunded to the bank. If there wasn't enough interest paid, then you have to pay a charge as well. Then the customer wouldn't be taxed on the interest.

A real gotcha: Someone withdrew money early from a NatWest fixed-term savings account. NatWest applied an early closure charge of 90 days interest. So they didn't receive 90 days-worth of interest. But they were still taxed on it! Whose fault? And how can we fix this?

@Paskins_tache @DeesideDotCom Connah's Quay, you know what to do next time he comes up for election. Why would anyone vote for someone who gets elected on one platform and defects to a polar opposite?

A Connah’s Quay councillor has responded to the reaction to his decision to join Reform UK, saying he's not changed and nothing will change for Golftyn ward residents.  deeside.com/connahs-quay-c…

Return your unwanted Reform UK flyers to this address and it costs them £2.50 a pop. Pop this address on an envelope with the flyer in, and pop it in a post box! The more we return, the less they will send!

A first look behind the scenes at some of the most exciting upgrades to 35mm film production in decades. Two brand-new, state-of-the-art converting machines. Film photography has always been about more than just taking pictures. It’s about slowing down, learning the craft, and enjoying the process, and that’s something more and more people are discovering (or rediscovering) every day. But the reality is, much of the industry has been relying on ageing equipment for years. This investment is about changing that. #ilfordphoto #filmphotography #behindthescenes #35mmfilm #analogueforever

@suespensley He was an MEP for years - didn't do a tap. Only made a handful of speeches, and some of those sounded uncomfortably similar to the ones his colleague Nathan Gill got 10 years for (Russia paid him). Now he's an MP - and still doesn't do his job. Not one constituency surgery!
