It is completely possible to simultaneously believe the following two things: (1) Intentionally seeking out confrontations with cops while you're legally carrying a firearm is a bad idea that increases the chances of bad things happening, including cops believing [reasonably or negligently] that you're a threat. (2) The 2A community can and should insist that officials be precise with their statements, to avoid recklessly insinuating that the lawful exercise of 2A rights is inherently threatening or that totally normal actions [like carrying extra mags] are inherently suspicious. Be. Better.

@OrinKerr I have lived in KY, TX, FL, MN, OH, LA, GA, & VA, and I cannot begin to conceptualize how those three words could possibly be pronounced differently from one another.

Apparently a lot of you people pronounce Mary, merry, and marry the same way. Having grown up in one of the green areas in this map, I think that's just weird.
