The Shadow of War games may not be even 5% lore accurate to The Lord of the Rings but they are extremely fun and have an incredible gameplay innovation called the Nemesis System which Warner Bros has patented and done nothing with in any other games.

Take it up with Tolkien but don’t pretend there is no basis for this sort of storyline in the lore ✌️
