I implore the NH homeschooling community to read this and unite. This could be our last opportunity for years to reclaim our natural rights as parents. We should not ask permission from government to educate our children. We do not have rights if we have to beg for them. HB1268 is opening your cage, home educators. I can’t force you to walk out of that cage, but I am begging you not to shut the door and lock the rest of us in there with you.
Cornerstone Action@nhcornerstone

HB 1268 enhances freedom for home educators by recognizing that it is the parents' rights, not government allowance, that home education rests upon. Read our Executive Director @slmcginley's latest piece addressing the arguments against freedom⬇️ nhcornerstone.org/home-education…

We have a unique opportunity here in NH to put a stop to these clinics before they take hold. Tell you Senator to support HB360
The Granite Discourse@GraniteDiscours

@MelissablasekNH with @RebuildNH shares a disturbing case: a child in ME was given 3 forms of birth control by her school's health clinic without parental consent. They then prescribed Zoloft, a separate violation. The father withdrew her, CPS was called on him. @FreeStateNH

@MelissablasekNH with @RebuildNH discusses HB360, a bill to ban prescribing and surgical capabilities on school grounds, including surgeries like IUD insertions. Rebuild NH champions medical freedom, parental rights, and administrative state reform. @FreeStateNH #libertyforum

@IowaMisesCaucus @DeAngelisCorey We have had “pretty good” too (no documentation we were forced to show government other than a one time letter of intent) but now we will have proactive protections against government involvement, and civil remedies against false allegations

@RebuildNH @DeAngelisCorey Don’t know the exact details to compare and contrast both, but Iowas laws that have been on the books for over a decade are pretty good also.

BREAKING: New Hampshire House just passed the "Home Education Freedom Act." The vote was 174 to 166. It removes nearly all state requirements such as compulsory reporting and government oversight. It makes New Hampshire one of the least regulated states for home education.

Seat belts are a good idea. Yet NH does not require them. Good ideas don’t require laws or force.

GSHE once again lying and saying that HSLDA recommends optional letters of intent. Having just reviewed the testimony, letters of intent or notification were never brought up by the representative from HSLDA. More lying. Although I have no issue with people creating their own notifications if they choose or GSHE recommending that to their members. I do object to it being put in law.

@RebuildNH C’mon! Who would want “additional freedoms”? That’s crazy!

We have been disappointed to see a vocal minority of home educators screaming that the sky will fall without government regulation. Stockholm syndrome is real and Democrats are using it to justify their authoritarianism.
Cornerstone Action@nhcornerstone

Democratic Rep. Muriel Hall, says in her PI speech: “If I know that many in NH’s home education community do not want the additional freedoms in this bill..” She goes on to list the multiple freedoms and protections in HB 1268. Home educators need to step out of their cage!
