@sgoldfed @LefterisJP Hey man thanks for coming on to r/CryptoCurrency for the AMAs and the banner rentals and all the time you spend interacting with this huge Arbitrum community. No wonder arb is doing so well price and adoption wise. Keep it up and arb will be <$0.10 in no time.

If you’re thinking of quitting crypto, please don’t. If you’re so bothered by the current state of things that you want to leave, you’re exactly the person that we need to stay around to help fix things. The tech is revolutionary. Don’t let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

@Jesseeckel The r/CryptoCurrency subreddit token $MOON requires all projects to burn the token to advertise on the sub. It’s been averaging $5k-$20k in burns per month

1/ ArbitrumDAO goes all-in on RWAs! The DAO just approved 35M ARB for RWAs via STEP 2.0. This brings the total RWA investments from the DAO treasury to 85M ARB, one of the largest DAO-led RWA allocations in Web3! tally.xyz/gov/arbitrum/p…

@sgoldfed The r/CryptoCurrency community of over 8m subscribers is thrilled that you have run 0 AMAs, 0 banner advertisements, made 0 posts, and totally abandoned us. Clearly you have little influence though as MOON still outperforms BOOP, which you shill incessantly 💙💪💙

@fibonacki Yes the @arbitrum team promoted BOOP heavily and it went nowhere. Reddit launched $MOON on Arbitrum nova (also bridged to Arbitrum one) and it is listed on kraken, but there is no promotion as nobody received an insider stake. Yesterday it was the top gainer on kraken.

@EdFelten Ed, your focus on protocol development is useless when you abandon legitimate communities with real utility and exchange listings. You have made no effort to support MOON or r/CryptoCurrency and you have alienated a very large user base. x.com/redditmoons/st…

@BFreshHB Imagine having a project on your chain with >200,000 holders in a community of 8m subscribers and never partnering for advertisement or exposure. You guys could be all over r/CryptoCurrency and yet you’re nowhere to be found

What comes next is even better. The smoothest, fastest, trustless interop requires protocol innovation. In-protocol support for faster, fully trustless interop will power the multi-chain future. And Arbitrum will lead, as always.

The universal intents engine we're building with the community is going to redefine what interop looks like. - crosschain transfers and swaps as quick as 1-3s - Integrations with @arbitrum chains AND other ETH L2s And this is only the beginning… x.com/OffchainLabs/s…
Offchain Labs@Offchain

Say hello to true interop for @ethereum. In collaboration with many teams, we're building a universal intents engine. The goal? Seamlessly connect @arbitrum chains and other Ethereum L2s with < 3s crosschain swaps and transfers to achieve flawless UX. 🧵

arbitrum’s role in 2024 + beyond a very long story of my thoughts 👇 disclaimer: these are my thoughts; not representative of anyone or any entity —- In 2021 “Arbitrum” started out as the underdog - 1 L2 with 50 projects on mainnet Today “Arbitrum” is a “crypto household” name with - 50 publicly announced L2s/L3s - over 700 projects supported on mainnet - a DAO that controls both public chains - a foundation that stewards the DAO - core contributors like us (offchain labs) Effectively Arbitrum went from being a state with a couple of towns, to an entire country with multiple states that have their own laws/communities.So it’s pretty obvious that Arbitrum’s position in today’s landscape is much different than it was 3 years ago. The over arching community has never been bigger with projects continually launching every day. But I can’t pretend that there isn’t a clear lack of social awareness, in Arbitrum yes, but generally in teams building dope tech. I’m not going to complain about memes or anything else CT takes a liking to this week b/c in all reality I’m here for it lmao. But there’s a clear lack of innovation/0-1 moments in this cycle and I think that’s why there’s such a left-curve approach to what people are focusing on (albeit while all of it being very entertaining, like I said I’m 100% here for it) Should I be tweeting more? Probably, should the ecosystem be doing a better job at putting all our ideas together and coming up with a vision? Maybe! But generally speaking i think the landscape is dry of new things. tldr; we need more innovation IMO the most defining tangible technical advancement that has come out of this cycle thus far are chain stacks. I hear you, WHY do we need ANOTHER chain? We don’t. We don’t need another chain. What we need is a team that has a vision for what they’re trying to build that isn’t possible on any mainnet chain. To build what hasn’t been possible before you need a stack that can be modified to fit your ideas. To scale to the masses you need throughput that only your individual chain can offer. We don’t need another chain, we need a team to innovate with the tech available to build an app that can give us the next 0-1 moment. Enter “arbitrum’s role in 2024 + beyond” Arbitrum has always been on the forefront of scaling tech and that still hasn’t changed. Permisonless fraud proofs are coming and shared sequencing services are starting to be spun up. But how do we go beyond that? And how do we achieve that innovative tech I mentioned above? You gotta get multidimensional with it my guy, aka not only scaling up the layers, but scaling across them too. Enter orbit chains Those 50 publicly announced Arbitrum L2s/L3s I mentioned earlier are all orbit chains. By end of year I expect that number to be close to 100 with a ton more in stealth. This includes orbit chains as general purpose chains, app chains, DeFi focused, gaming focused, RWA focused, backend settlement for an overarching system, and more. But why do orbit chains enable the innovation I spoke of? Simply put: - block time is the fastest in the industry (100-250ms) - technically you can deploy them anywhere (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, insert L2 here, possibly other L1s in the future) - you can code in Solidity, Rust, C, C++, or any language that compiles down to WASM and have full interop between them - you can modify the codebase as much as you want (see Fhenix for example building a rollup with FHE) - chain clusters will allow for crosschain interop orbit is a blank page with infinite possibilities waiting for you to create that next 0-1 moment. So where do I see Arbitrum in 2024 and beyond? I see Arbitrum growing from a country into a continent. I see the future of gaming, privacy, rwa, memes, etc being built with Arbitrum tech. I see all this technology becoming the backbone for the communities that don’t even exist yet and scaling our existing communities even further than where they’re at today.
