@CardinalRule32 @Hassel_Chris I mean maybe I'm reading it differently but there doesn't seem to be much taking-to-heart the very valid criticisms that ISU fans have. Brushing them off as "disgruntled online posters" and saying "I know the real truth" is a bit tone deaf.

While I think 95% of this is great, you can’t dismiss what a growing portion of the fanbase feels. Obviously I respect and would expect Lyndsey to defend the program she helped build and her family. She’s loyal and she clearly believes they will turn it around. But I wouldn’t paint all the critics as if they’re In the wrong or not real fans.

Asked Ben about wanting a Kirk Ferentz comp over Curt Cignetti: “Why would I like the coach at Indiana? We’re cheering for the Hawkeyes here. Like, that's why. Kirk's obviously — he's as classy as it gets. He's done a great job with his entire program of recruiting great kids and great people, created a great culture. Anytime you can compare yourself to that, it's a big deal. But I'm certainly not going to compare myself to somebody from Indiana. No disrespect, he obviously accomplished a lot of good things and certainly humbling. But I'm a Kirk guy.”

Ben McCollum will be talked about when blue blood opportunities become open. He was just on Pat McAfee’s show and was asked about the Curt Cignetti comparisons. He complimented him a few times but also said: I’m more of a Kirk Ferentz fan. I’d rather be compared to him. No offense to Cignetti, he’s obviously a fantastic coach” Kirk Ferentz has been at Iowa since the 1999 season.

Nebraska loses to Iowa 77-71 in the Sweet 16 to end their season. Hawkeyes took their first lead of the game with 2 minutes left in the game. Huskers 28 wins this season is a program record. Most importantly to Nebraska fans, they won their first NCAA tournament game ever.

Had the correct read on Iowa/Nebraska. Thought Corn was the slightly better team, but Hawkeyes were a tough schematic matchup & I worried what McCollum had late. And that's nothing against Hoiberg. BMC is a Top 5 schematic mind in the sport Drilled Purdue/UT cap

At 6:16 left in the game, Pryce Sandfort made a 3 to take the lead against Iowa. The TBS broadcast showed Matt Rhule in the crowd. After said basket, Nebraska went on a 5 minute and 9 second scoring drought and got outscored 15-6 for the rest of the game.
