I hate to tell you this but manufacturing is not coming back. Americans don’t want to work in a sweatshop or assembly line for poor wages. Americans also don’t want to pay inflated prices for goods which can be made cheaper overseas. This is why Trump’s tariffs will fail.

I have always disagreed with Catholic leaders waiting for a visit from a head of state to try to show off or appear bold. Instead of praying for God to touch their hearts, they end up ridiculing them publicly and adding fuel to the fire. It seems they have learned nothing from the one they call Master. When Jesus invited or visited a tax collector, it wasn’t to attack them but to pray for them and their family, leaving the work to God.
