I enjoyed touring the local McDonald’s in Mountain Grove today, where I got the chance to serve customers and participate in a hands-on experience of their daily operations! Through programs like Archways to Opportunity, McDonald’s is helping workers finish high school and earn a college degree. That’s real opportunity and upward mobility happening right here at the local level in places like Wright County. The Working Families Tax Cuts included policies like the 20% small business deduction (199A) to help keep these locally owned restaurants strong. On top of that, education provisions like Section 127 make it easier for companies to invest in their employees without added tax burden. It was an honor to see firsthand the hard work that goes into serving customers in Wright County!

As a product of rural America, I am always fighting to ensure our nation’s farmers and ranchers have a tax code that works for them.
