My statement on the White House AI framework:

Yesterday, I raised serious concerns about this Administration’s hiring a bunch of extremists to senior roles in the intelligence community who have a history of spewing antisemitic rhetoric and views. Joe Kent is a white supremacist who used Israel as a scapegoat for the Iran and Iraq war. Dan Caldwell, who was recently hired, is an isolationist who was fired from the Pentagon for leaking sensitive information.

It would be really helpful to have a clear understanding of what exactly the objectives of the conflict in Iran are, so that we can actually understand what victory looks like. I’ve heard shifting objectives, by the day, from different leaders in the Administration. It is of the utmost importance these goals are laid out as we enter the next phase of this conflict.
