American families don’t get to spend money they don’t have without consequences and neither should the federal government. Today I voted YES on the Balanced Budget Amendment to keep Washington accountable to American taxpayers and end reckless spending.

Any illegal immigrant who defrauds the United States and steals taxpayer benefits should be permanently deported and barred from returning. I applaud the House passage of @RepDaveTaylor's Deporting Fraudsters Act and was proud to vote YES.

ICYMI: Carpenter v. United States requires a warrant for Americans’ location data. The government shouldn’t be able to just swipe a credit card and bypass the Fourth Amendment.

The FBI just acknowledged that the federal government buys Americans' location data in its testimony to the Senate Select Subcommittee on Intelligence. This is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment and is why I introduced the Government Surveillance Reform Act - to close the data broker loophole that allows intelligence agencies to buy Americans' private data.

I voted NO on the Senate bill brought to the House floor today. Until the Senate does its job and passes the SAVE America Act to ensure illegals cannot vote in our elections, I will continue voting NO on any bill they send to the House.

Today I spoke with a panel at the DC Blockchain Summit about DeFi as an alternative to traditional finance. For most of history, if two people wanted to transact, they could simply do so. Today, the financial system assumes an intermediary has to approve it. DeFi flips that back around—it allows people to transact directly, securely, and transparently without asking permission.

Yesterday I joined Butler County officials in welcoming the Butler Tech Aviation Center to Middletown Regional Airport. The facility will give hands on training to 150 high school students a year, tripling current capacity and connecting students directly to careers in aviation.
