@elonmusk FSD is an incredible way to drive through scenic areas. Here I am driving through Zion National Park. (Have driven over 4,200 miles on FSD since taking my MYP two months ago. It is magic.)

We’re probably looking at weeks of back and forth missile strikes, so probably not much sense it getting too fixated on the opening salvos. Pace yourselves!

@BreeDemonet Thank you! FSD is the feature! But the moment she was sold on it is when the car saw pedestrians that she had not seen yet when taking a left hand turn across traffic. You are saving lives!!!

@RetiredGuyAI That’s amazing to hear welcome to your mom! ❤️ Stories like that are why we push so hard on safety. What feature made her feel most confident?

Our robot has driven me and the family for two hours in driving rain across one of USA’s most dangerous roads. Without my hands touching the wheel once. It is how it handled pudddles, two brown streams crossing the road that most impresses me. While coming at us fast. None of you will do better. It was perfect. Which leads to trust. Once you trust a company with your life you will buy anything that company offers. People have no idea how good the AI is from @tesla. Trust will sell a lot of robots. Better. It gets me to trust all AI.

Tesla's Supercharger network continues to power ahead - now with over 55,000 connectors at nearly 6,000 locations worldwide. There are now about 100 Tesla's for every Supercharger connector. And each Supercharging location has an average of 9.2 connectors. $tsla

It's supervised. It has a safety monitor in the passenger seat. It's just a few cars. It's just one city. It's just 10 cities. It's just a $10T market cap... R.I.P. $TSLA bears!

$8,000 is an incredible value for this capability. Risk of totaling the car is quite low (and even lower IF you use FSD based on Tesla's and Lemonade's data). In the unlikely event of a total - you'd have an argument with the insurance company for the ACV. Further, I'd expect the used value of the car will be higher even if you trade it in before your break-even period.

PRO TIP: Tesla doesn’t want you to buy FSD. That’s because they’ll make more money on subscriptions long-term. I have no doubt tha buying FSD before February 14th is a very wise* decision. *Only wise if you plan to KEEP your car for at least 6-10 years (break even point at $99/mo is 6.7 years) and not trade it in. I’ve covered this in my video on this same topic below. 👇 👇 👇
Whole Mars Catalog@wholemars

For all the people who don't believe me when I say that buying the FSD package means you get access to all self-driving features available... Why on earth would Tesla offer free hardware upgrades to HW3 customers if Tesla can't achieve unsupervised on those cars if unsupervised was going to be an extra paid upgrade? Y'all either have the memory of a goldfish, or you're new to Tesla. Those of us who have been customers for 10+ years now know that from the beginning Full Self-Driving was Full Self-Driving. The end goal was never a great ADAS. It was Robotaxi. And now we have firmly entered the Robotaxi era.

@nymbusjp "Legacy gets its Blackberry moment." I think of this everytime I see a Waymo hugging the right side of the right lane of a freeway in Phoenix while self-driving Teslas dart around traffic with ease. Thank you for the post. One of the best I have ever read.
