@pureMetatron This reminds me of the rubbish uni paper on iphones & their whiteness associated with racism. There is an aesthetic design to white or perl electronics. In the 80s they were mostly satin black or stainless silver. There is also a scientific reason for the colour white, Cooling!

@LundukeJournal This is so stupid. It's beyond stupid! GNU/LINUX has always been diverse. We have had alternative init systems for an age. When did the likes of systemd Wayland become the sacred cow not to be questioned? This is very negative in the freedom zone!

Here we see two high profile Open Source people (Red Hat & GNOME) discussing the problem with what they call “MAGA/Linux”. Discussions like this have been increasing among Open Source organizations and projects lately. They are very upset that “MAGA/Linux” is “gaining traction”. What, exactly, is “MAGA/Linux”? The definition seems vague, but you’ll see words like “XLibre”, “Lunduke”, & “OpenMandriva” regularly associated.

I see your point,but to easily we sit back & comply This is what we were warned about when systemd arrived It will slowly assimilate until you have lost all control of your OS 'Resistance is Futile!' systemd needs to stay in it's corner & be an init system not an operating system

systemd has merged a commit by dylanmtaylor to collect and store users's birth dates in compliance with Brazil and California age verification laws -- which has been a controversial topic in Linux communities the same dev (dylanmtaylor) tried to push a similar change to archinstall (Arch Linux), which has, so far, been denied -- but the discussion was reopened after being closed for a while there are also reports of commentators having their posts removed or even being banned from the r/linux subreddit for posting opposing views to age verification laws and compliance how can the subreddit of the leading OPEN-source project be so CLOSED for different perspectives? makes you wonder... reddit is a terrible place for open debates, i'm more than convinced at this point
