So, it mostly can’t even keep coaches or players from making otherwise lateral or even downgrade moves that pay more

I think they're right, guys. Dusty should have spent year 1 with the 2 Michigan players who stayed and the freshman he recruited. Then he should have played this year with just the holdovers, the sophomores who stayed, and the freshman he recruited in 2025. Solid business plan.
