Ravi Chidambaram, Kamal Kumar, Susan Ferro-Novick et al. @UCSanDiego identify peripheral tubule junctions as a site where RTN3L functions in ER-#autophagy. The Parkinson’s disease kinase, PINK1, regulates formation of these tubule junctions. hubs.la/Q02YwVFC0 #ER_literature

Dear PIs, what's one specific strategy you use to minimize time spent on less important tasks, so you can focus more on research? Would love to hear your tips! 😀

Great news from our @BioelectronicsL @Cambridge_Uni! Our latest breakthrough in spinal cord neural interfacing is now featured in @ScienceAdvances. We've developed a flexible device that encircles the spinal cord, enabling 360-degree neural recording and stimulation. This innovative thin-film bioelectronic interface grants unprecedented access to previously unreachable areas of the spinal cord, opening new possibilities to restore lost neurological functions. Discover more about how we're unlocking the full potential of the spinal cord in our full study: science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… Kudos to all the authors: @WoodingtonBen #JiangLei @AlejCarnicer @AmparoGuemes @TobiasENaegele #SamHilton @SalimElHadwe #RikinTrivedi @GeorgeMalliaras #Neuroscience #Innovation #Neurosurgery #SpinalCordInjury #Neuroprosthetics #BCI #MedicalResearch @NIHRresearch @RCSnews @acmedsci @EPSRC @EANSonline50 @AANSNeuro @CNS_Update

Truly a "miracle" of science and public health. Millions are alive and walking today thanks to the polio vaccines. Grateful to Jonas Salk, Albert Sabin, and other pioneers in this field.
Massimo@Rainmaker1973

69 years ago #Today, Jonas Salk's polio vaccine was declared safe and successful, Salk was hailed as a "miracle worker" and the day almost became a U.S. national holiday.
