@IndyStarSports Really wish there was an alternative live broadcast of the boys basketball sectional draw. I've criticized the presentation in the past with reasonable criticism. There used to be on FOX Sports Net. Just want a more relatable live broadcast of the IHSAA sectional draws.

@IHSAA1 My point proves your system is broken with the private schools. These schools go out and recruit and get away with it. Level the playing surface. I’ve seen this all first hand .

Almost certain Bethesda Christian just started playing basketball maybe 5 years ago and they’re already one of the best 1a programs in the state 🤓. Make it make sense .

@Bearmo17 @IHSAA1 Fox/Bally charged you $3.50 per month for their channel on DirecTV. Bally cancelled their contract with the IHSAA. No system or station came forward to buy the rights. All sporting events will eventually be all-carte allowing you to buy what you want and don't. It's reality.

@RickyVandy @IHSAA1 I had watched it for the past several years on Direct TV so if you consider that pay TV I agree. Just remember growing up that was something I couldn’t wait to see. Everything has changed and those memories are gone for a lot of people. You can’t argue that.

@mmessengerpga What states? The IHSAA only controls post season tournaments. Additionally, if the IHSAA were to hold a holiday tourney, how do schools handle the loss of revenue from their local holiday tourneys? Would a holiday tourney impact the plans of athletes who travel on xmas?

@DaleGasaway @JMV1070 The IHSAA still received money back when local stations covered the games. I believe 59 and perhaps 40 covered them before Fox Sports IN did. What sucks is you already pay for internet access, then pay more for the games.

@IHSAA1 disappointed that the half million people in Indiana’s second largest county can’t watch Indiana State High School football finals for free. Not a great way “to encourage and direct wholesome amateur athletics” for youth who look forward to representing their school.

The @NWHS_Football Panthers will be the home team on Saturday at the IHSAA Class 4A state football finals. NorthWood will be in black uniforms, so hopefully we've seen the last of the silver on white jerseys!

Big-time HS football coaches are hearing talk that the Indiana legislature will pass a law before next season allowing a one-time transfer rule for athletes. Coaches aren’t happy - “Wild West,” one just texted me - but as I wrote recently, blame the IHSAA.
