@RightWingProle
I’m not arsed.

I didn't want to bring this discussion into this direction. I wish commentators like Sophie had more dignity during times like this and genuine concern for kids like Henry Nowak. But they want another nonsensical culture war debate instead, which keeps them getting money from views online, TV appearances, fundraisers etc. That's why they focus on literally 0.001% of the problem. There has long been an issue of murderous thuggery on British streets. This is a result of a lack of community, a lack of religion (spiritual connection) and over emphasis of divisions by a media/political class with a different agenda. And Sophie furthers that agenda. Prove me wrong Sophie. Let's have a sensible discussion on how we can help bring communities together. Banning the kirpan will change nothing about daily life in Britain. Ban knives and an angry youth will grab scissors. Ban scissors and your forks are then a threat. This crisis is deeper than objects. But if you want to persist with these shenanigans, go ahead. That's your career. I get it. Understand though, it may mean you never wear your stilettos again.

@JazzTheJourno Over 50x more likely according to UK police data showing hundreds of stiletto heel assaults in recent years versus only a handful of media-reported kirpan attacks across the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

If the choice is having these rancid people in my country forever more or the most unhinged, far-right regime which would go on to commit horrors unimaginable to the darkest human mind then the latter it is and I'd sleep like a baby. Just FYI.

Fortunately for Britain’s Sikhs, there will never be a Restore government. The Kirpan is a sacred article of faith carried responsibly by Sikhs for centuries. Attacking religious freedoms to chase headlines is not leadership it is ignorance wrapped in division politics.

The fact that I can’t legally carry pepper spray but Sikhs can legally carry this is ABSURD

Robert Jenrick has told @GBNEWS that Reform UK would ban the kirpan, the Sikh ceremonial knife, being carried in public after the murder of Henry Nowak. The differing rules on knives being allowed in public have been described as another example of two-tier justice.

I don’t care what religion you are. NOBODY other than law enforcement will get to carry deadly weapons under a Reform government. Reform will repeal the exemption for Sikhs to carry the kirpan. We will deploy stop and search and get deadly weapons off our streets.

'I just want to live in a country where people are treated equally.' @RobertJenrick says the death of Henry Nowak while under arrest shows that ethnic minorities are 'prioritised' over white people in Britain.

THIS IS HORIFFIC Convicted rapist Michael Doherty, 38, prowled the streets with a large knife after brutally murdering 21-year-old barmaid Courtney Angus in a sadistic attack. Doherty had 23 previous convictions, including raping a stranger in 2013. Courtney had only recently moved into his home in Batley, West Yorkshire, and had clearly told him she did not want a relationship. After she rejected his advances he sexually assaulted her, inflicted 76 separate injuries, strangled her and subjected her to extreme sexual humiliation. He took indecent photos of her body and cut parts of it off, leaving them on his mantelpiece. He then went on a rampage through Dewsbury, threatening shop staff and police with the knife before confessing: “I’ve got a dead body in my house.” Doherty has now been jailed for life with a minimum term of 33 years at Leeds Crown Court.

Both the Tories and Reform are now saying the kirpan should be banned. This is totally wrong. The kirpan is a key article of the Sikh faith. An entire community cannot be tarred by the horrendous actions of one person.

STATEMENT FROM SIKH COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS REGARDING TODAY’S VERDICT IN THE TRAGIC KILLING OF HENRY NOWAK 28 May 2026 Today the court has found Vickrum Digwa guilty of the murder of Henry Novak and his mother guilty of assisting an offender.… full statement below

A Restore Britain Government will ban the Kirpan in public spaces. One rule for all.

i carry a kirpan as a baptised sikh & the guy who killed henry nowak should absolutely feel the full force of the law for what he did. his disgusting actions don’t surmount to banning the kirpan - yet another attack on religious minorities communities by reform and restore 👎🏻

Every time you see a Tory complain about knife crime, remember it was Tory governments that created a Britain in which one person would be arrested for carrying this and another would not. Because one was of a different religion. 2 tier policing has been enshrined in British law for decades. It ends under Reform. One set of laws for everyone.
