It’s March break so my kids are getting to sleep in. Maisie, having woken up about 20 minutes ago, just told me her goal today is to take a nap. I can get behind this plan.

Farm related question. What are people using for remote cameras? Specifically looking for something to check calving and nursing. How do cameras handle cement and steel for transmission? Thanks in advance!

@Campbellgrain Governments are incapable of operating efficiently and should not be involved in non-essential activities. If this had been farmed out to a “for profit” entity it would have operated profitably or it would have been stopped. Government needs to get out of business!

@DanVanek Same experience in Ayr. Wanted to read the entire Shetland series and the 2nd book was unavailable. Bought the series and tried to donate when finished. Nope🤷

Pretty sad that my local county library will not accept book donations. I was advised to take the to a thrift store, or see if the hospital would like them. If anyone in south Lambton knows where they can be used without reselling. Please let me know.

This place used to feature rational discussions about big essays. Now folks I respect just insult critics' names, make off color jibes and ignore substance (at best). X is a virus that regresses otherwise normal smart people. All the good convos are now in walled gardens.
