Reform UK Scotland has unveiled new election van adverts featuring an image of a small boat with asylum seekers on board. Worth noting Scotland has had no known small boat landings. @LBC | @LBCNews | @LBCNewsScot

From today, energy bills will come down. Labour took the decision to bring down bills by asking the wealthiest to pay a little more. That’s the fair thing to do. We know there’s more to do to tackle the cost of living but this is an important step.

Back in 2013, @Ed_Miliband proposed an energy price cap. David Cameron called it “Marxist.” Today it kicks in, cutting £117 a year from bills, perfect timing given the conflict in Iran. Turns out someone was right all along. Cheers, Ed. ⚡

I visited @LushLtd in Coventry city centre last week to see their powerful migrants' rights campaign 🩵 Coventry is a City of Sanctuary and we know the truth: migrants aren't the threat, racism is. Our NHS, housing and public services weren't broken by migrants, they were broken by Westminster politicians. And the real enemy of the working class travels by private jet, not migrant dinghy.

Today's judgement is a huge blow to all our civil liberties. This conviction won't just impact @BenJamalpsc and @ChrisNineham but will restrict all our rights. When the legal system is weaponised to target protesters not only does it ruin the lives impacted but makes a farce of our entire legal system - a system that is the bedrock of our democracy. We must continue to stand together in the face of tyrants - regardless of what colour tie they wear, red or turquoise ties. We must continue the fight for the freedom of the Palestinian people and our own rights to peaceful assembly Solidarity

Farage wants to cut young people’s pay. Labour thinks otherwise. That’s why the minimum wage goes up today under our watch. 🦕 Dinosaurs vs doers. 🌹

From today, energy bills will fall by 7% for families across the country. We took the decision in the Budget to ask those with the broadest shoulders to pay their fair share, and today we see the result of that. Vital cost of living support delivered by this government.

@Kate_Dearden Wonder how many Reform supporters will be refusing their own pay increase this week. Surely they’ll follow the opinion of Farage and Tice to abolish the minimum wage and give the pay rise back to their bosses

Today, 2.7 million workers are getting a pay rise. Increases to the National Minimum and Living Wages mean full-time workers could earn up to £1,500 more this year. As Minister for Employment Rights, I’m proud to help deliver this ➡️ boosting pay and helping with living costs

Across the country people are seeing through Nigel Farage. He would have dragged us into this illegal and unpopular war - all our bills would be going up even further under Reform. Whether it's the North East or London - more and more people are supporting the Green Party.
Politics UK@PolitlcsUK

🚨 WATCH: Nigel Farage is asked if Reform UK is becoming "a party of the old" as youth support falls to 8% vs 51% for the Green Party "Polanski is tapping into a university student, half-indoctrinated youth who find Marxism very appealing"

Parts of Gaza, Lebanon and Iran are being flattened. Thousands of innocent children have been killed. Millions of people displaced. And before anyone says “But, Hamas, Hezbollah”…Imagine if Britain had done the same to Ireland after the IRA bombings? You cannot justify this.

In the last week, 0 migrants have arrived in the UK across the English Channel. Starmer has been the first UK PM to stop illegal migration, and to take back control over their borders.

Israel’s parliament has passed a new death penalty law that applies to Palestinians but not Israelis who commit the same crime. We need Governments to do more than issue statements against this. We need tough action. Our Government must impose widespread sanctions on Israel.

The state pension costs working-age Brits over £150 billion a year. Is it fair for young people to pay the highest tax burden in British history to fund every single pensioner? Especially when 25% are millionaires?

Yes, homes are sentimental. But if you're living in a million pound house, you cannot expect 20-something year olds who only dream of owning a house and starting a family of their own, to pay for you. It simply isn't fair.
