Heritage is selling what is likely the most important game in all of video game collecting, a newly-discovered Super Mario Bros. featuring an intact Gloss Sticker seal from the game’s second production.
There are no known sealed first production copies and just three gloss sticker seals including this one (a Wata 9.4 A++ and a VGA 80). At PSA 9.6 A++, this is the highest graded. In 2019, the Wata 9.4A++ copy became the first-ever six figure video game sale.
Bidding for the game is currently at $796,875 (including bp) with three days remaining. It will likely become the first $1m+ video game sale since 2021.
