'This policy will disproportionately impact women from the global South.' Yes it will. Female athletes from the global South will now be able to represent their countries on the world stage. Instead of losing their careers to athletes with male DSDs. time.com/article/2026/0…

I wholeheartedly welcome the new IOC guidelines that secure a safe and fair female category that excludes male athletes. SRY screening is a simple, non-invasive, once-in-a-lifetime check that returns female sport to female athletes. Laurel Hubbard should not have been allowed to lift weights against women. Caster Semenya should not have been allowed to run against women. Imane Khelif should not have been allowed to punch women in the face. This is a vindication for all the brilliant women who have fought for fairness and safety for all women in sport. Thank you to Kirsty Coventry, Jane Thornton and all those in the working group for a clear, evidence based policy. @iocmedia

Here’s John’s post. A man with Tourette’s thanking people for their support after a week of global humiliation. A man apologising for hurt he never intended, while refusing to apologise for having a neurological condition he cannot control. The continued harassment of him by Hollywood for his condition is sickening. These are the same multimillionaires who scream about inclusion from red carpets and podiums, who clap for the sanitised movie version of disability, but recoil when confronted with the real, involuntary reality of it. They invited a man with Tourette’s into the room and then acted shocked when Tourette’s did what Tourette’s does. That’s not inclusivity. That’s hypocrisy. Johnny has shown more integrity and decency in one Facebook post than that entire virtue soaked industry managed all week.

“Only an industry located so firmly up its own backside could gather to honour a film illustrating the grim realities facing someone living with Tourette’s and then be so publicly aggrieved when the actuality of that illness – and the involuntary nature of its effects on those suffering from it – reveals itself in their midst.”

An absolute savage review of that terrible BJSM paper trying desperately to show no fitness differences between trans-identifying males and females. Well worth the read. voidifremoved.co.uk/p/beef-trifle?…

I never said and never believed Khelif was trans. I knew* he was a man. The gender activists who created a political climate in which sex testing was seen as 'bigoted' are as culpable as the IOC for the travesty that ensued. *via a highly credible source who saw his test results

What an insane bunch of cherry-picked metrics, cobbled together to try and argue that trans-identifying males should be in female sport. bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/…

Here is my longest interview about Imane Khelif (and other similar athletes like Semenya). Two points here (discussed in the interview): 1. It is entirely possible to have deep sympathy for people who believe they are girls then find out they are male, and to understand the trauma involved here. 2. The type of DSD Khelif has makes itself known at puberty, and cynicism that this goes unnoticed is reasonable. @AndrewGold_ok youtu.be/xJ50XmUrp88?si…

In news that will surprise only the wilfully blind, Imane Khelif has admitted having the SRY “make male” gene. In pursuit of their ideology, the International Olympic Committee not only allowed a male boxer into a ring with women, but also demanded we all STFU about it. No.

From a quick look, what I see in Figure A of "upper-body strength" (the one used to support the claim of "no significant differences" between females and males identified as "trans women"): 1. The figure is based on only 4 small studies, that rely on self-reported/effort-dependent tests (in a population that has an interest in the outcome) or are irrelevant, 3 of them actually lean toward higher measured strength in the male "trans women" group, as per the figure. So does the mean. 2. Heterogeneity is very high (75%) and the authors themselves grade the outcome as "very low certainty". 3. The first study (Alvares 2025) relies on effort-dependent tests in a sample of 7 males "trans women", after removing more than half of the original participants, and after excluding ca 2/3 of the original female participants to match BMI, leaving a tiny filtered subgroup that suppresses natural body composition differences and is not representative of the population. 4. The second study (Ceolin 2024) is a bone metabolism study in non-athletes that uses self-reported activity through a questionnaire (IPAQ). 5. The third study (Hamilton 2024) relies on a self-selected sample recruited through social media and uses effort-dependent performance tests. 6. The fourth study (Andrade 2022) compares testosterone-treated females to males, not males identifying as trans women to females, as claimed.

Unless you’ve followed or paid close attention to what @jk_rowling has been saying, extremely courteously & politely for 10 long years now, & witnessed the decade-long, non-stop onslaught of the worst possible abuse, threats, lies & slander… UNLESS you’re 100% aware of how civilly & calmly she has conducted herself in the face of such vitriol, hatred & aggression & actively involving family members… UNLESS you’ve watched, time & time again, men telling her to “sit down & shut up”, “control yourself, woman” or “I don’t think that’s very nice. Why can’t you just be kind & accept what we are telling you?”, I’m really NOT convinced that it’s your f***ing place to pop up NOW & instruct her to exercise ‘basic common decency’… SHE’S BEEN DOING THAT FOR 10 YEARS. So, I’m sure all you bleating, barking men, out there, who’ve suddenly decided she’s “crossed a line”, you, embarrassingly, HAVEN’T BEEN PAYING ATTENTION, have you? She’s done the whole “being kind” schtick. (For many more years than most of us would, to be honest). Where has that got her? TRA’s don’t CARE about that. They are going to hate her regardless. They want the hate. They crave it. Nevertheless, she continued to debate with grace & courtesy, whilst others raged at her from basements etc, worldwide. But, to you, watching from the sidelines, now popping up like f***ing whack-a-moles, you might have failed to notice that she is out of fucks to give & has said so. Clearly. And believe it or not, she has the unwavering gratitude & support of a HUGE (& ever-growing) number of women, girls, gay people, transsexuals, detransitioners, parents & children. Why? Because she took the fall for those who felt they had no voices nor a chance to say “No”. Well, they do now. And if that bugs the heck out of you, you’ll have to find a better coping strategy. Because our voices, loudly & given strength because of her, will NEVER deny the truth & always speak up for those who are TRULY vulnerable & marginalised. And shame on all the Q+ organisations for turning your backs on her, after all the help & financial support she gave to those with HIV. Shame on you. Thank you again @jk_rowling for standing tall & for NOT “staying in your goddamn’d place!” ❤️ (Please RT. Account restricted. As per.)
