Disgraced @podcastacademy told Ambies winners to say "F— ICE" in their award speeches tonight. And they kicked me out for a lie about "inclusivity" and commitment to that value. Well, The Podcast Academy, you have clearly violated your own rules and have created an environment that leads the community to question your own commitment to the values of inclusivity.

@BriannaWu Thing is, that idea about the “delusion” only seems to have come up the past few years from being propagated by right wing media. Or did they all actually think that they just were hiding their thoughts just like they hid their racist thoughts and it all got normalized?

You cannot make a trans child not trans anymore than you can make a gay child not gay. I grew up in Mississippi in the 80s in an ultra religious church. No one affirmed my identity. On the contrary, I was punished anytime I acted in a way that felt natural or showed any interest in anything feminine. All the mental illness came from my parents, insisting I pretend to be something I wasn’t. My entire childhood was premised around acting like a boy so my parents would love me. My gender identity has never flickered one second of my entire life. I’m 48 now. There are just some boys that are born hard coded to act and live like girls. It’s better for everyone involved for society to make space for us. You can’t change the outcome, but you sure can shatter us.

@theDanielJLewis Maybe you don't know (even though I gave you examples and there are tens of thousands of examples well documented in the media) - how many people's rights are being violated by ICE agents. If they were acting properly, then they'd have no worries being unmasked.

Interesting. Maybe you don't know how much people are trying to dox, stalk, harass, and harm those agents. It really sounds like you want them unmasked so violent leftists can do more of that. Besides, the agencies know who they are, and can exercise justice when necessary. Just like those border patrol agents who shot Pretti, who have been put on leave and there's an investigation going on.

@theDanielJLewis The ROI on amnesty - administrative costs only - which keeps and documents undocumented immigrants - is far greater than the ROI on deportations. They stay as contributing members of society and pay taxes. And they’re doing jobs other Americans won’t do.

@theDanielJLewis You do understand it’s a misdemeanor- and misdemeanors are punishable by fines or in this case deportation. But - deportation with proper due process is expensive. Immigrants have in the past been given amnesty and a path to citizenship. Reagan did it for 2 million immigrants.

@theDanielJLewis Also - you do understand that immigration violations are civil, not criminal, right? That’s why they are litigated in immigration court which is civil and results in deportation, not jail time. As such, there is a different standard.

@theDanielJLewis I want the agents held to the same standard as other law enforcement. Which right now they’re not.
