It doesn't look too bad if you just look at the UK.
The reality is if you combine the UK with the rest of its british overseas territory it would rank 1st on the Financial secrecy index [this is a measure on how complicit a countries legal and financial systems are in helping individuals hide their wealth from tax including holdings in offshore tax havens]
Sure we can have a conversation on who pays the most tax ect... but we should by no mistake be having a conversation on who is and isn't paying the tax they should be and why we have not implemented stronger legal systems and still refuse to place wealth tax on the same people who are the largest avoiders.
Speaking of avoiders 4 out of the top 20 world enablers of cooperate tax abuse are British territories too [and thats being nice and not including the Bahamas or crown dependencies]
