Bruce Springsteen is currently playing to a #NoKings crowd of over 200,000 people in Saint Paul Minnesota right now!
Trump is using government to hurt people who disagree. That is what kings do to scare others. We will not be scared. We will not be silent.

BREAKING: “THEY PICKED THE WRONG CITY!” Bruce Springsteen defies Trump and his ICE goons in powerful speech heard around the nation honoring Renee Good and Alex Pretti! x.com/HQNewsNow/stat…
Bruce Springsteen took the stage at the massive “No Kings” rally in St. Paul, Minnesota, and delivered a powerful, emotional address that brought the crowd to its feet before he began his performance.
“Well, this past winter, federal troops brought death and terror to the streets of Minneapolis. Well, they picked the wrong city,” Springsteen said to thunderous applause. “The power and the solidarity of the people of Minneapolis and of Minnesota was an inspiration to the entire country. Your strength and your commitment told us that this is still America.”
He continued with a direct jab at the Trump administration:
“And this reactionary nightmare and these invasions of American cities will not stand. You gave us hope, you gave us courage…”
Springsteen then honored the victims by name.
“For those who gave their lives -- Renee Good, mother of three, brutally murdered, Alex Pretti, a VA nurse, executed by ICE, shot in the back and left to die in the street without even the decency of our lawless government investigating their deaths. Their bravery, their sacrifice, and their names will not be forgotten.”
He closed the speech with a powerful new verse he wrote for the occasion, describing citizens standing up against “King Trump’s private army from the DHS” amid smoke and rubber bullets.
This is Bruce Springsteen talking about the America we all love and fear fear losing at the hands of Trump and his minions – using his platform to call out authoritarian overreach, honor the fallen, and remind the country that resistance is still alive.
The nationwide “No Kings” rallies are proving that millions of Americans refuse to accept Trump’s vision of unchecked power, and are willing to fight back. For decades, Springsteen has written and sang about the America he loves, warts and all, and today used his platform to help safeguard the way of life he’s been documenting for his legions of fans for years.
