@RogueNerdOne @Deerfoot25David @Martyupnorth The petition page does not indicate where it was signed. Albertans can sign anywhere in the world so long as they are 18+, a Canadian citizen, ordinarily a resident of Alberta, and the signature was collected by a badged canvasser.

Stop the gaslighting! Signatures for the Alberta independence petition do NOT need to be signed within Alberta. They can be collected anywhere in the world (including outside Canada) as long as the signer is an eligible Alberta elector and every other legal requirement is met.

If you’re on vacation but have ID showing your address and are an elector, then where the signature is collected by a registered canvasser should be immaterial.
