@Guglielminetti Quarante ans pour passer de « trop théorique » à « fondation indispensable de la sécurité numérique ». BB84 arrive à point nommé — les ordinateurs quantiques n’attendent pas. Félicitations à un pionnier québécois.

@ChaseLochmiller @CrusoeAI Building AI factories is the most exciting thing happening in the world right now imo. From nanometers of silicon to gigawatts of power. Was good seeing you at GTC.

Closed the first tranche of our private placement at @SATO_Compute. Upsized to $1.4M. Co-founder, CFO, board, local partner — everyone wrote a cheque. Not because it's easy. Because we believe in where this is going. Skin in the game. $SATO.V newsfilecorp.com/release/288667

@r0ck3t23 Physics doesn’t negotiate. Renewable energy, dense compute, physical infrastructure — that’s the only balance sheet that survives the transition Musk is describing. We’re already in that economy.

Elon Musk just described the terminal state of the global financial system. The banking sector is obsessed with fiat currency. Superintelligence won’t even recognize it. Musk: “I think money will stop being relevant at some point in the future. I think the AI will not use human currency. It will just care about power and mass, wattage and tonnage.” You can’t bribe an algorithm with digital dollars. The operators controlling the next era won’t be the ones hoarding cash. They’ll be the ones commanding raw energy generation and physical material. The global economy is transitioning from fiat to thermodynamics. If your portfolio isn’t anchored in power and mass, your capital is already obsolete. Musk: “It just represents some percentage ownership in companies that I’ve built. And it’s not like sitting in a bank account. It’s just literally I own a percentage of companies. The companies are doing lots of useful things.” The general public thinks billionaires hoard massive piles of cash in a vault. They don’t. Massive wealth is the mathematical byproduct of owning infrastructure that keeps civilization running. Cash sitting in an account is a depreciating liability. The only real leverage is equity in systems that are actively solving bottlenecks at scale. Capital sitting idle isn’t safe. It’s bleeding. Peter Diamandis: “Elon’s driven to solve problems. He’s driven to make life in the world better by just solving the biggest problems over and over and over again. And if someone else were solving them, he wouldn’t need to. But no one else is solving them.” You don’t achieve trillion-dollar scale by optimizing for a higher salary. You achieve it by hunting the largest friction points on the planet and engineering them out of existence. The market doesn’t compensate you for your time. It compensates you in direct proportion to the size of the problem you delete from the board. Don’t build a company to extract money. Accumulate resources to fund the execution loop until the friction is completely gone. And once AI measures value purely in physics, the entire concept of wealth as we understand it evaporates. Who controls the energy. Who controls the materials. Who controls the infrastructure. Everything else is just numbers on a screen.

Bret Taylor is right. The atomic unit of productivity is a process. But every compressed process produces data. And right now, most enterprises have no idea where that data sits, who can access it, or under which jurisdiction. Speed without sovereignty is just a faster way to lose control. Own your AI factory!
Dustin@r0ck3t23

Bret Taylor, former co-CEO of Salesforce and chair of OpenAI, just redefined the unit of productivity. It’s not a person. It’s a process. Taylor: “I think the atomic unit of productivity in AI is a process, not a person.” AI won’t replace a worker. It will compress entire workflows. What used to take 17 days across departments collapses into hours. The traditional corporate model measures productivity in person-hours. The new model measures process-compression. The incumbent assumption: you buy AI to replace a junior analyst. That’s a fundamental misunderstanding. You deploy an autonomous agent to completely collapse the timeline of a business outcome. An operation requiring 17 days of bureaucratic friction gets mathematically condensed into 17 hours. You’re not buying a digital employee. You’re buying the ruthless compression of time. Using AI to speed up a single employee’s task? You’re playing the wrong game. Taylor: “There’s a legal department to do a contract. There’s some finance department, procurement. You probably have IT that’s involved to onboard them into your core systems.” Friction in the modern enterprise doesn’t come from a single worker. It comes from the endless hand-offs between siloed departments. The traditional CEO tries making each department 10% faster. The winning CEO deploys an AI overlay that autonomously bypasses the human hand-offs entirely. The algorithm doesn’t sit in the legal department or IT. It executes the entire thread simultaneously across all core systems. It doesn’t replace individual workers. It renders their departmental bottlenecks completely irrelevant. Taylor: “I think it’s wrong to think about AI as sort of replacing people. In addition to being inhumane, it’s just sort of nonsensical because AI sort of operates in the world of digital technologies.” The neural network won’t sit at a desk, pour coffee, or shake a client’s hand. It’s a sovereign engine operating exclusively in the realm of digital friction. Superintelligence isn’t your direct replacement. It’s your digital exoskeleton. The hard part of enterprise execution has never been the human element. It’s always been wrestling with archaic, fragmented software systems. When AI takes over the digital process, the biological operator gets freed from the bureaucratic drag. They instantly shift from manual processor of forms to high-leverage director of outcomes. And that’s the real transformation. Not humans versus machines. Humans commanding the compressed timelines machines execute. Whoever builds that infrastructure first turns every competitor’s 17-day cycle into a fatal disadvantage. Because they’re finishing in hours what the rest of the market hasn’t even started.

Quiet part loud: SpaceX now owns every layer of the stack needed to be a global cellular carrier. And now has a plan to beam it direct to your cell phone. Starlink Mobile v2 sits on top of: - The rockets (Starship) - The satellites (15,000 approved) - The spectrum ($17B from EchoStar) - The chipset partnerships (Qualcomm, MediaTek) - Carrier deals across 32 countries on six continents They're currently partnering with T-Mobile and a dozen more carriers serving as invisible infrastructure underneath. But Elon has publicly talked about competing directly with carriers. Just last week they laid out their plan launch 1,200 satellites in six months starting mid 2027 50 per Starship. Each satellite carrying antennas five times larger than the current fleet. Hundred-foot solar arrays. Custom SpaceX silicon. 20 times the throughput of what's in orbit today. 100x data density of V1 The result: 150 Mbps download speeds beamed directly from low Earth orbit to the phone in your pocket anywhere on earth 70% of the planet has no service. Starlink will make that 0% and now every carrier in the world is forced to partner with the company that could eventually replace them

World models with persistent memory and real-time reasoning are going to demand a fundamentally different infrastructure stack than LLMs. The compute appetite will be staggering. Congrats on the launch — this is the right problem to go after. Godspeed @amilabs

Just announced a private placement at $SATO.V to fund our pivot from bitcoin mining to AI infrastructure. We sit on 20 MW of hydro power in Quebec. Clean, stable, renewable. The same energy profile that IREN, TeraWulf, and Cipher are using to build billion-dollar AI compute businesses. We're early. This is the first raise of many. More coming soon. newsfilecorp.com/release/286520

NVIDIA just announced that their upcoming generation of AI chips, coming in the next couple of years, will be 50x faster than their current ones. Another way of looking at the same news: all the progress in AI from the 1960s through to today is 2% of what's coming by 2028-2030.

NVIDIA says its Blackwell Ultra is optimized for agentic AI, delivering 50× higher throughput per megawatt than H200s, 35× lower cost per million tokens, and 1.5× lower cost per token vs. GB200 NVL72. wccftech.com/nvidias-blackw…
