First couple of classes voted today on the 71 bookmark contest entries I received. I am blown away, that is like over 1/3 of our school population. I think it actually might be closer to half! #sd36learns #sd36tl @coastlearns

I took a birth control pill for over a decade because our patriarchal society has decided women primarily bear the brunt of family planning. I’m familiar with the risk of blood clots. Give me any available vaccine. And make a male birth control pill please.

@nico1e @stephkeys8 I am even getting each person to write a short blurb about the book they chose either why they picked it or what it’s about and putting it together as a booklet that I print out for them all. If I have funds leftover I was going to add a packet of hot chocolate!

Today marks 2 weeks since I got vaccinated. And ever so slightly, a light weight feels like it has been lifted from me. A small amount of fear is gone... I’m excited for my loved ones to feel this too. It’s the beginning of change. #bcimmunity
