Commentary YouTuber, Quintheo, discovers that all of the mods on Pirate Software's mod team have quit, including Kronos (the mod that Pirate would use as an intimidation tactic) It's speculated that Pirate was dramatic towards his mods, specifically Kronos and viewers, and the mods did not like the way Pirate was treating them, so the mods quit. It's also stated that because Pirate wasn't respecting their "days off" as a mod. Pirate was also paying them and treating the mod role as an actual job itself, and supposedly ended up not paying the mods. Quintheo states that it appears the mod team preferred Kronos over Pirate.

Stormforge, a popular World of Warcraft private server, is shutting down. They received a cease-and-desist letter from Blizzard Entertainment. After talking with Blizzard’s lawyers, they agreed to stop everything by May 14, 2026. The servers will stay open until that date. You can still play your characters on realms like Frostmourne, Sheilun, and Netherwing. No new accounts or updates will be added. After May 14, the website and Discord will close too. This comes right after Blizzard won a court case against another big private server called TurtleWoW. Stormforge ran for more than four years. For many players, this is the end of a fun chapter in World of Warcraft.

@Rozemmo @AgrivarDragon Idk what Ascension has done better outside of Elune being a pretty cool concept. Raids are braindead easy, the content is damn near completely the same. The balancing is absolutely horrendous. Shit even BB is horrible.

@AgrivarDragon its not about being mad at the fact that its their IP or theyre trying to protect it, its about how ridiculous it is that some group of wackjobs somewhere in a basement making a private server fundamentally understand and develop the IP better than the actual owners.

Twitch and their streamers are such rats that no matter what new scoring system is put in place, it will always be gamed by the absolute worst people. There's only one uncomfortable solution to make botting stop and no one wants to hear it: wipe Twitch off the face of the internet, rebuild a streaming platform entirely differently from anything that exists right now.

The entire monetary side of things, not because it's impossible to do alone but because the shift from creative to technical mentally is annoying to bounce between. I'd happily give up 30% of any earnings across all sources just so I can sit in a fully creative mindset 100% of the time.

Serious thought for streamers out there. What’s one thing you wish you had someone else doing or automatically done so you could stress less about that, and focus on being live? Is it the gathering of clips? The ideas? The posting? Is it working with brands or organizing your schedule? What is ONE thing where if you had outside help, you feel it would push you exponentially?
