FAssets made XRP usable in DeFi, but FLR’s role was primarily tied to collateral and minting. That created real demand, but it did not scale with the activity happening across XRPFi. This proposal is designed to strengthen the connection between FLR and that activity.

Interesting comments, I'm certainly no defi wizard. What I do know though is Hugo has the most impressive toolkit at his disposal. That's including the answer to who would manage a treasury or a buy and burn etc. With the introduction of TEE's and confidential compute he can use the full power of the stack to create maximum efficiency gains within the ecosystem. I would actually go as far as to say this isn't just about saving the value proposition of the FLR token. It's a fundamental shift, well timed to coincide with the imminent waves of adoption at scale. Though significant it will continue to scale. That's precisely why stables are the ideal collateral. Regulated institutions need very compliant access. So Agentic control of anything very radical like buy and burn or variants of would also be the compliant solution. I fully expect FLR to become a truth token within the auditing toll booth of block production for collated attestations etc. A few harvesting machine, an economic truth and audit machine for very large needs. I expect the FIP will reveal the nature of what our ecosystem will be attesting on one end while rewarding the TVL activities behind it. Time to see if Flare sets a template for Web 3 and beyond in terms of efficiency and infrastructure. What better marketing than dog fooding your own tech.

If you’ve lost hope in $FLR ever recovering, that’s exactly when dollar cost averaging matters most. DCA isn’t about predicting the bottom, it’s about lowering your average over time while sentiment is at its worst. While Fundamentals hold, builders build, markets will follow ☀️

@Rpolanco75 I can’t quite follow but respect your input. I would love to see flare do well but I’m just stating how I feel. A lot of people disagree or don’t like it and that’s fine. Lets hope the FIP can breathe new life into $FLR

I dont think it will have to do anything with burns. IMO burns are for short sighted projects. With BTCFi coming and all the other Non Smart Contract ISO20022 tokens coming to ask for the DRPFi treatment, a lock mechanism I think will be better. But I will say, a burn would be radical!

@Rpolanco75 It's probably gonna be along the lines of all funds generated on flare will have a portion dedicated to a buy and burn of flr.. the more successful tvl becomes the more flr is bought and burned and more deflationary it becomes.

@Rpolanco75 In fact, Hugo hasnt said explicitly that it is radical for the price. Based on the hints, it is a radically new way to reformulate tokenomics or relink the price to activity. But a radical price increase would be more than welcome.

@AndersFlarefan Ok, so for evey dollar you stake or delegate you get your rewards already. But then you also receive you NFT pr token representation that gives you access to the many defi opportunities available. I WOULD DEF BE A PARTICIPANT. We talking yield on yield on yield.
