We've written to @Uber's UK General Manager Andrew Brem asking what measures are being taken to protect drivers that are being targeted by far right rioters. Uber must suspend services in unsafe areas and compensate drivers for damaged vehicles and time taken off work.

Joint statement on the end of our pay dispute:

Earlier this year @RootedFinance fired 83% of their frontline staff after they attempted to unionise. Fired workers appealed & Rooted France was given an opportunity to do the right thing. Instead, they’ve decided to deny the appeals of the sacked trade union members.

The IWGB is a union founded on the struggles of migrant workers. Our commitment as a union is to a world where all workers, regardless of ethnicity or immigration status can live a life of dignity, respect and safety. Thread below:

A reminder to Andy Haldane: you can sit back on your excessive salary and refuse to resolve the union dispute, but the fight will continue. Solidarity to the supporters that called out Andy at a recent @theRSAorg event. You can’t hide from your responsibilities forever.
