The producer informed her that Bibi was giving a live press conference in that very moment, forcing her to backpedal and act as if the premature claims of his death were just theories put forth by “the internet” and not something she wholeheartedly embraced just seconds before.

Theory: The alt-right planned this Kent resignation. It was meant to intimate an internal groundswell against Trump by “America First” patriots. Kent had the service history, the jaw, and the new wife, who was to microwave his latent anti -Jew radicalism. They thought this was the time his very public resignation — complete with soft-peddled groyper tropes — would stem the tide of Americans’ increasing support for the war with Iran *now that they see we mean to win it*. It was a planned demoralization operation. But the pushback has been fierce and immediate. The alt-right once again misjudged its own popularity. A whole host of media apparatchiks put in place to “soberly” explain Kent’s “integrity” are shocked at the pushback they’re getting. No one gives a fuck what Cerno has to say. No one gives a shit that your low-key groyperism comes wearing a vet’s uniform. Today’s op was an ENORMOUS miscalculation. People are angry at Kent despite his having cultivated every shield one can —military service, Gold Star widower, GOP candidate, Presidential appointee — against the ire of the American right. And yet the reaction has made it clear people saw right thru it. The alt-right is losing. And thank God for that.
